Chapter 132
Gabbie POV
“Kade! Was this necessary?” I cried.
He kept the silver knife inside my skin. Despite the surprising strength, I couldn’t make him budge.
“Trust me, Gabbie,” he pleaded.
“Would you trust me if I stuck a knife in you?” I bellowed.
“What the hell is going on here?” Alex stormed into the tent.
Dad kept Mom down with his knife.
“Dude, what are you doing?” Alex raced forward, but Dad cut him short.
“He’s removing the hunter’s spear.”
“Be quick. They keep on coming,” Alex warned.
Kade pulled out the knife and concentrated on the hole he created. I felt something crawl out of me at a snail’s pace. Me and my wolf cried, our voices blending into one.
I saw a brown and bronze handle pop out of my skin. I felt faint. How was this possible?
It’s an actual spear inside me!
“Hurry, boy,” Dad said through gritted teeth.
“Damn,” Alex said. He ducked out of the tent.
