Kade POV

I watched as Alex grabbed her around the waist as if he was her mate. If I could, I would have punched myself because the jealousy that came over me was enough to take out an army of wolves. I watched how she looked at him with so much affection, so much… longing. She had a letter in her hand, fuck it if she was giving Alex a love letter.

I should have just walked away and gone on to the class I needed to be in, but I stayed until Alex left. I noticed Ryan take his position as a bodyguard. He lingered with the other betas who waited for the omegas to finish their work. Everything was calm and I felt good enough to leave her there. That was until Collins rolled his shoulders back and with the aid of his stupid friends walked over to where Gabbie was quickly raking up leaves.
