Kade POV
“She’s gone!” I roared.
My wolf was on the edge of my skin, begging to get out and search the surface of the forest and dig up the earth to find our mate.
“We won’t find her if we stand here beating up the trees,” Gareth said.
“We can’t find Elowen either. I don’t understand how we managed to get separated,” Silas said.
That wasn’t helping me.
“Okay, this isn’t good. Are you sure you didn’t find anyone out here?” Gareth asked.
I spaced out as the conversation went on. Why did I think it was okay to let her go? I should have gone with her. Damn, it's all my fault. I'm supposed to protect her.
I couldn’t feel her wolf either. This wasn’t good.
A car door slammed, alerting us to Tristan and Emery’s presence.
“Did you find her?” Emery asked frantically.
