Chapter 7. The Chosen One
In the woods of Redô, there was a crystal palace that no mortal had ever found, though they knew of its existence. There lived the man they considered the god of the forest, Tolar. He was considered so because he had received immortality from the gods. And a meeting was being held inside with all the advisors of this man, a god, and his daughter Liã.
When Liã entered the great hall, the great hubbub of voices ceased as soon as they realized her presence. Her beauty was great, and she was admired by all. All the prophets of her father were there. They wore white robes with gold ornaments, for they liked to dress like the gods themselves. Liã, in addition to her white dress, wore a dragon-shaped pendant, which symbolized eternal life, on her forehead. Her father was seated on the throne but rose to welcome her as soon as she approached the throne.
