Chapter 29
“Rest assured. I have become your woman, so in my heart, there’s only you. I won’t have any relationship with him. I’ll prove it to you.”
These heartfelt words flowed from Carolina’s mouth, accompanied by her emotionless face. She thought she should say what he wanted to hear. ‘Red, these are the words you want to hear, so I’ll tell them to you.’ He could have her body, but he would never have her heart!
Red was very satisfied with her statement. He handed her a glass of wine. “Drink with me.”
Looking at the clear liquid in the transparent glass, Carolina didn’t say a word but accepted it and took a sip, tilting her neck and finishing the wine in one go. She raised the empty glass, forming an elegant curve.
A drop of wine flowed from the corner of her mouth, down her chin, and her neck, following a graceful, winding path before disappearing into her cleavage.
