"Why did you turn off your phone all day?" Red approached, flipping the blanket open.

The sudden warmth was replaced by a rush of cold air, causing Carolina to huddle back.

She struggled to open her eyes, but her eyelids felt heavy, making it impossible to fully open them. She could only squint, gazing at the man with an angelic face but a devilish heart standing before her.

"I’m asking you. Can you hear me?" Red raised his hand, grabbing her arm and pulling her up from the bed.

He had warned her before not to turn off her phone or ignore his calls.

Yet, he couldn’t reach her on the phone all day today. He even had his assistant repeatedly call but to no avail.

It was hard to describe the feeling of frustration, anger, and worry.

After a hurried meeting with a business partner from the U.S., Red had come straight here.
