I gaped at my lawyer for a second. “I don’t have a choice. My uncle threatened my dad, and he handed half the company shares over to him. Now he’s an equal shareholder, and he wants access to the business.” 

“You shouldn’t concede. You’re the owner, Mr. Nikolaou. I think you should revise your Shareholder/Founder Agreement first. Still, I would advise you not to give them enough power in the company. Treat them as employees and have them sign the Employment Agreement like all the other employees. In case of a breach, you can drag them to court.” 

“Yes, I was thinking of doing the same. I’ll call a Board Meeting to discuss this with the members before deciding.” 

“I would still advise you against it. In the meantime, you must check up on your father. Maybe he’s under some sort of pressure. Why else would he sign his dream company, his hard work away to his evil brother?” 

I nodded. “Yes, I was suspicious, t
