Book 4: Won’t He Kiss Me?

Sydney's POV

I was on tenterhooks around him as I lay on my side to sleep. After his announcement, the se*ual tension surrounding us was so intense, it left me confused. Now that we were in a relationship, would he claim me? Did he expect me to behave as his girlfriend? How did girlfriends behave? With no prior dating experience, I wasn’t aware of such basic facts.

So, at twenty-one, I was maybe the only inexperienced virgin around who shied away from the male species. Would that make Killian run away from me? With his looks and financial status, it was obvious that he was an experienced player when it came to women. Would he repent his decision to make me his girlfriend? 

The bed dipped, and he joined me on the bed. My breath hitched as I waited for him to do something. Though I had no idea what I was waiting for. 

“Are you repenting of your decision?” His husky voice made me breathless. I could sense his arousal from his harsh int
