Chapter 13. Daydreaming
“Can you have so much fun now?” asked Justin, who was busy moving Zee to the right and then to the left every time he passed creatures.
“I’m sick of the night view. Look how bright it is this morning,” she gushed.
The activities of the different races of creatures were exciting. Most of them were fairies who enjoyed shopping. Justin rubbed his nose. The smell of berry pancakes from a sweet cafe wafted down the street. Although it was very tempting, Justin pretended to ignore it.
Instead, Azeeva pointed to a shop selling unicorn horn headbands. “Can I buy it first?”
“Oh, I’ll buy it later. For now, we don’t have time.”
“Later when? I can buy it myself anyway.” Azeeva pouted.
“Shouldn’t we hurry to your father? Madam Jenn is probably hanging around Paramour. We don’t know what devious plans she might have here.”
Zee blocked Justin’s path with her arms crossed over her chest. “My father will be fine.”
“Your gut tells you that?”
