“A secret!” said Zee with a grin.
“Wow… you’re in a good mood. Witches do look this scary, don’t they?” Letta shuddered in horror.
“No scarier than your boss!” said Zee, “You still want to side with Madam Jenn? I’m a thousand times better than her. Carl Justin has proven it.”
“Proved it with what?”
“A kiss,” said Azeeva.
Letta let out a mocking laugh. “Alright. I’m even more convinced I won’t be joining you.”
“Why?” Azeeva’s voice rose in disapproval. “The kiss was one of our strategies to escape the pursuit of the adjutant fairies, and just so you know, we succeeded!”
“And, you confidently came here. Does this mean you’re finally turning yourself in?”
“I told you, I persuaded you to leave Madam Jenn.”
