Chapter 27. Save
The muscles in Azeeva’s arms seemed on the verge of breaking, but the witch girl puffed out her chest. Squealing one last time, she threw Justin out in one hard pull.
Azeeva, who could no longer bear the car’s heat, let go and focused on Justin. Woe for humankind remained inevitable.
A loud bang shook the center of the city. Flames blazed, glass and building materials crumbled, and screams rose. The people below began running, fearing the magnificent building would fall on them.
Azeeva quickly wrapped herself and Justin in the cyclone circle. The huge wind around them could at least block the sparks and hot smoke.
Azeeva’s hands were almost stroked, exhausted from controlling such a big wind. Justin pointedly pressed his forefinger to the top of Azeeva’s head. There was a noticeable difference between them. Azeeva became the size of a cashew nut next to Justin’s finger.
