Caroline's POV
Philip slammed the door of his office shut with a dark look on his face. He looked at the letter in his hand that a guard gave to him. Opening it, his eyes slowly widened when he read the first few lines.
The letter was short, but that wasn't the point. He was in disbelief when he realized that the letter was from Caroline. She wanted to meet him at her favorite spot, and the thought of meeting her there again made his heart beat faster. He smiled, recalling their moments together at their favorite spot. Was she thinking about that as well? Could that be why she wanted to meet with him?
Did she still love him? There were just too many questions, but he had only one thought.
