Caroline's POV
As I took a step, my heart started beating fast, as if I was nearing my breaking point.
Soon, we arrived at the location, and I saw Philip waiting for me with anticipation. I suggested that Bruce and Lawuren stay back and keep an eye on me. They mutually agreed, and I walked towards Philip.
I approached him slowly, standing beside him. "Philip," I called out, and he swiftly turned to face me.
"Tana," he called, smiling as if his long dream had just come true.
My heart raced as the thought of breaking news fueled my temper. I don't understand why I'm suddenly scared of him, but I won't let it get to me. I will speak my mind.
"Philip," I called, piquing his interest.
"Tana, do you have something to say?" he asked, smiling at me.
"I want us to end our connection," I said confidently, and I could see Philip's mood changing.
