Caroline's POV

The first thing I heard were screams from a witch, and the next was a growl from a wolf. Oh, no! They were being outnumbered.

Jackson already sprang into action. He was already fighting off a wolf that attacked a witch. I barely had the chance to digest the situation before a wolf stroke, and I tried to avoid every hit. We finally got the remaining witches and gathered them together while we faced the pack that surrounded us.

"Who do you think they are?" I heard Liam's voice as he asked Jackson.
