Realization hit us and I swallowed deeply. So this is where they stood? They were both into this. It was all a setup from the start.

Feeling restless, I quickly ran to Jackson, unsure of what to do next.

"What are we going to do now? If the vampires find us here, the witches won't be safe at all," I said, my voice filled with worry and sadness weighing on my soul. Jackson nodded, understanding my concern.
