I immediately turned around and walked away. Whatever I just saw and heard must remain with me, as I find it of great significance. They seemed to be unaware that I heard the whole conversation. Too engrossed in what they were doing that they even let the door open. I just had this belief that these people were really careless for a reason, and they drank each other's blood for pure pleasure.

Everything felt suspicious, including how they managed to become stronger. Thinking about it, they were supposed to be weaker than the wolves because not only was it difficult for them to run in sunlight, but they could take a while fighting two wolves on their own. However, what made them strong was the ability to see from afar, hear from a distance and still be able to fight even after much killing.
