Chapter 17. Irresistibly Drawn to Her

Adrian’s POV

As soon as we got to the venue of the party, I started to feel that the place was familiar. I tried to think what made the place familiar. Had I been there before or Did anything memorable happen there? But all I could come up with was a blank.

We entered the banqueting hall and the feeling of familiarity increased. I couldn’t stop myself from looking around, trying to see if there was something that would help explain why I felt familiar with the place.

That was when I saw her…

Her lovely grey eyes a d fair hair… her beautiful face. I knew I had sed. that face somewhere. It was almost as though I had been dreaming about the face my whole life. I looked at the man with her. Was he her husband or brother? He was handsome and I felt somewhat jealous without knowing the reason for it except that they both looked close and happy. But strangely, I felt like I knew the man as well.

Miranda must have felt my interest for she followed my eye
