Adrian’s POV

“Your two minutes with my date is over,” Sean Anderson said as he came out the door and I was furious that he had to be there. I wasn’t through explaining myself to Iris yet. I felt like wringing his neck but he held out his hands to Iris, “Shall we, darling?”

I was still staring after them long after they had entered the car and driven out of sight.

I was about to turn back and go home to think about how to remedy the mistake I had made when a voice stopped me.
