Richard’s POV

If there could be any other word to describe how I was feeling, apart from overwhelmed, I would make use of it a billion times.

I felt drained, stuck, and about to collapse.

For years, I had gone back and forth to find that one thing, that one person, to complete my life. All my life has been in shambles. Money, they say, can buy happiness. Yes, it is very true, but can it buy joy?

Happiness is circumstantial, while joy is regardless. Even though you are sad or happy, joy will always be there, and what happens when you lose that joy?

That joy that held you from childhood until your teenage years, and then boom, the joy vanished.

I always asked myself that question for the longest time, and then I got to know it through an angel. In human form, whenever you want to be sure that what you have is joy or mere happiness, try thinking about a scenario where that thing is taken away.
