Damien’s POV
“Wait, you went back there again?” Alvin asked, puzzled.
I know it was hard for them to believe, but this is what a desperate father will do—positively desperate, of course.
“Yes, I did. I just felt that going alone might be quite better, maybe just a lone time with her,” I explained expressly.
But I still knew that however she forgave me was a miracle, and I’m thankful to God for that.
“Wow, did she say anything about the lawsuit?” Alvin asked.
“Nothing of the sort, I think not yet; she wants me to be the father, but she clearly doesn’t want anything to do with me anymore or for now!”
“Hmm, so what’s the plan?”
“The plan is for him to act like a father and try to form bonds with the kids!” Kiana interrupted as she made her way to the living room.
“Well, how will he do that if Anita doesn’t get involved? She doesn’t want to be intimate with him in any way at all; she’s then the one who knows the children more
