Chapter 31. Faking the Commitment

Rachel screamed inside the tent. She headed towards the target and saw it exactly pinned at the ‘10’ mark. Ezekiel can’t believe that she did it in one trigger of the gun. He holds the gun in place while Rachel jumps up and down.

She is in a hefty skirt, but she can jump at the massive load of that.

Ezekiel couldn’t believe she had done it in one single shot and unbelievably asked, “How can you do that in a single shot? Have you been an armed soldier before?”

Rachel admired the hole at the standee and shook her head, teasing, “I believe you trained for months just to get that target. You can never beat a beginner like me who has already hit the ‘10’ mark, right in the centre, with no trails.”

She faced him with mockery on the face, a boastful behaviour that no one would eventually smack right out of her unless someone degraded her confidence. Ezekiel was admiring her greatly, and what happened today piles up the water in a jar.
