Scarlett’s POV
With probably a relieved huff, he begins discarding the clothes he was putting on; he comes to the bed and plops himself down in only a grey t-shirt and a pair of black briefs that make him look like the perfect description of the forbidden fruit that Eve had no choice but eat. Very tempting.
He shows no sign of talking to me, though, with his back turned to me, which is a gruff determination of his to fall asleep as fast as possible. I don’t push it. Instead, I turn the other way and try to get myself to fall asleep with the ache of arousal brewing in my pelvis.
