Gage’s POV

I should never have gotten her as involved as I did in this journey of mine, but I guess it’s impossible to keep her out of it when she starts being more than just a third party. I made her mine the very day I took her lips in mine…the day I swirled my tongue in hers and tasted her enchanting body melting nectar.

I had made her a part of the investigation by making her a part of my life. At first thought, you’d think that it’s a sin…my mistake, but I guess I don’t regret it. At least not now, when our faces are getting closer to each other’s.

There’d be plenty of time to regret it later. Now, she places her sweet mouth on my cheek, staining them with her saliva, promising me her luscious taste.
