Gage’s POV

“This.” She pulls out something from her bra and reveals a flash drive. “It’s the key to Boyeger’s financial assets. With it, I have access to everything. Literally…that and probably my life. She hasn’t killed me yet because they weren’t able to find the key.”

I look at Scarlett, and she takes the flash drive from her.

“Well, then, we have to kill you. The key is testament to Boyeger’s crimes already.” I say with a casual shrug.

I turn to the Dodge Ram and open the fuel tank. It’s an armored car, so the fuel tank is still intact after two explosive damage. “Get back,” I tell them and stretch my hand over at Scarlett. She looks at me hesitantly before rolling her eyes and handing her last grenade to me.

“I hate you.”

“Love you too, baby. As I said, get back…this is not a drill.” Immediately I pull the pin, drop it on the tank, and begin hobbling away. All of us get to a safe distance before the explosion happens. Bigger and better
