Gage’s POV

The weather is too humid to be outside, but Scarlett thinks otherwise. For the past fifteen minutes, she has been trying to get me to go out with her.

“Come on! Nature is the best venture.” She whines in my ear as she wraps her hands around me.

“That doesn’t even make sense.” I chuckle as she nibbles on my ear lobe.

“Of course it does. It means that investing in nature gives you the best health profit.” Her voice pipes in my ears and I stick a finger in to get rid of the ringing effect it has on me.

“That’s plausible, but no. I rather cool off in here. You can go ahead if you want to.”

Her hands slips away from my body and I immediately miss her touch. I turn around to get a better look at her and I’m taken aback by the look on her face.
