“This is our mission, baby. We can’t afford to drag any one into this. As plausible as that idea maybe, it doesn’t look like a pleasant way to be ushered into the afterlife. I’ll be the inner man.”

“No, no and no. Enough of yourself sacrifice. You’re not going to do that.” I argue.

“Why not? It’s not the first time.”

“It’s not, yes. But remember that you’re not the solo Lycan anymore. I’m your rider and we’re attached buddy. Come to terms with it.” I slap his ass and make my way to the bathroom, not even waiting to see his reaction.

I didn’t put it past Scarlett to play with an idea as dangerous as she just revealed. But if she thinks I’m going to let her sneak into the cartel of Miguel Blanco, then she is most definitely in denial.

I watch her saunter to the bathroom after she just managed to shut me up, but little does she know that actions speak louder than words.
