Chapter 14
Conrad's POV
Jeremiah is going to be constantly nagging me, wanting me to do things his way, and I won't like it. I won't want to do it because we don't operate in the same manner, and that's okay. I want to believe that it's okay. The money I've saved up is enough to buy a medium-sized apartment, but I prefer to save a bit more to buy a larger one that suits my tastes.
"Seals don't laugh, you idiot," Logan says irritably.
"Alright, we should go now. The bus is scheduled to arrive in two hours, and we need to vacate the house, find our suitcases, lock all the bedroom doors, turn off the air conditioning, and gather all our belongings. Please make sure not to leave anything behind and clean up the room."
"What do you mean by clean up?"
"Make the bed, sweep the floor, and leave everything as it was."
"Without mopping?"
"No, that's not necessary."
