Chapter 13. Want to Be Alone
Alice repeated her question, afraid she had heard it wrong. However, instead of answering, Harry looked away with an annoyed face.
Alice stood, confused.
“I don’t like repeating orders; I know you heard it,” Harry said coldly.
Alice looked down, a little sorry for what she had done and for making her boss feel unhappy.
“Sorry, sir.” That was all that came out of Alice’s mouth.
“Well, you just go; I suddenly changed my mind.” Harry shooed Alice out of his room. The man wanted to be alone without being disturbed by anyone. Seeing Alice’s overreaction when he was only asked to accompany him here made Harry’s mood suddenly bad.
“Okay, sir, I’ll leave.” Alice excused herself again and left her boss’s room.
Harry snorted in annoyance, asking, “Why is she insensitive? I told her to stay here, but she pretended not to hear and is now actually leaving.” Harry grumbled.
Alice returned to her workplace. The woman sat with her eyes fixed on the CE
