Chapter 15

"Wow, Josh, it's truly incredible. I mean, you are actually starting to have feelings for someone, right?" I playfully tease him, waggling my eyebrows and lightly poking his side, careful not to tickle him as he is focused on driving.

"Enough of that, Bea," he replies with an exasperated sigh. "I did not ask for your help just so you could mock me."

I burst into laughter at his response. "Oh, come on, I am sorry... lover boy," I say with a playful nudge.

He clicks his tongue and presses his lips together, signs of annoyance that only make me laugh even more. He is just so adorable.

It's only then that I realize we have already reached our destination. He pulls the car over and we both step out. He even opens the door for me, despite the fact that I have clearly gotten on his nerves.
