Chapter 22. Friday the 13th (1)

A few days passed… and not much out of the ordinary happened. My days were always the same—going to school from Monday to Friday, and after classes, hanging out at the playground, and every Saturday, dinner with Lee and her parents, and on Sundays, a rest day—either at home, at the mall, or wherever we decided to go.

It was already Friday today, and unexpectedly, I woke up earlier than my alarm. Upon waking up, I went straight to the bathroom to shower, and my shower was quick because it was still cold even though we have a heater in our bathroom.

After showering, I decided to go downstairs to the living room to turn on the TV and watch whatever show was airing at the moment. I was hoping that since it was still early, cartoons would be on, but unfortunately, the morning news was airing.
