“Students… go to your classrooms,” ordered our school principal. She even went to the older students peeking through the gate. Some students, who I assumed were probably fifth or sixth graders, even asked her if classes at Clara West were still continuing.
“Our school facilities were not affected by the accident that happened, so no, classes are not suspended…” she answered the student who asked, and I saw the disappointed look on that student’s face.
He seemed very reluctant to attend class. Well… so was I. How could I be eager to attend when I already knew the lessons our teachers were discussing? The only thing motivating me to go to school was playing at the playground after classes. Of course… I was excited to be with Tate.
After that, we Clara West students went to our rooms. When Lee and I entered our room, our first subject teacher was already there, so once we were seated, she started her discussion.
