Chapter 338. I Failed Again

Since neither Damon nor I could fall asleep inside the tent, we ended up doing something utterly silly—we started planning our future together. It all began with my casual question about what he planned to do after college.
From there, the conversation snowballed. We talked about where we would work after graduation, how we’d save up once we landed our dream jobs, and how we’d use our savings for two things: a grand wedding and the future of our children.
When the topic shifted to kids, we got a little carried away. We decided we wanted twins—but not identical twins, and certainly not two boys or two girls. We dreamed of having a boy and a girl.
Damon went on to describe how, despite being the same age, the boy would act like an older brother, always protective of his twin sister in every way.
