Chapter 17. Secret

Vince was next to me when I woke up, and we both got dressed right away because we weren’t aware that we had dozed off the night before. As soon as we arrived in the kitchen, we observed Nanny Lily preparing food.

“Good morning, Nanny Lily,” I said.

“Good morning to you too! Eat before you go to school,” Nanny Lily said.

“Yes, Nanny Lily, you eat too,” I said.

“I’m done eating. Go ahead and eat,” Nanny Lily said.

I started making coffee for both of us, and Vince sat down. We both looked at each other and grinned while eating. I can’t wait to see Vince’s face when I wake up each morning. I’m overjoyed that someone cares about me so much. We both went up to my room after breakfast to take a shower. To save time, we both took a shower at the same time.

“I love you!” I said to Vince.

“I also love you,” Vince said.
