The food soon arrived and Maddie was taken aback, it was not something she expected. She had not had it before and was intrigued by how it would taste. “Seafood?” She giggled. 

“Yes, I remember that when we dated, you should always tell me about how you always wanted to try seafood, but I never listened to you. I was a d*ck by then, I apologize.” He flashed her an apologetic smile. “But here we are, seafood!” 

Maddie smiled widely. He was right, seafood was something she had always wanted to try for the longest. A few months to years back, she used to watch the popular kids bring sushi or lobsters to school and they would eat it in the cafeteria instead of eating the food served there. 

She would always watch and wonder how it felt to be that happy and financially free. She would always envy them and have really wanted to know what seafood tasted like. Seafood was not just something any werewolf could get in the town.
