Chapter 208. The Prophecy

The day went by in a blur, Maddie was now done with classes. This day was close to perfect, she was now in control over almost all the things that wanted to swallow her up before. 

She had taken care of or had handled the Elder Roy situation, she had Vanessa under control, she had the perverted principal of Highwoods under her control, and she had forgiven and made things right with Jacob again. 

This made her happy, it made her feel alive again. She still had anxiety but it was not as worse as it used to be before. 

Also, the students treated her so well. This was crazy to her, considering that they all used to treat her as invisible or as complete trash. But now that she had risen to power, it had all changed. 

Maddie felt weird about it because it just reminded her how unfair this world was. She knew that the mindset of who’s better than the other ran much deeper and further than their little town.
