Chapter 209. Magic

The words of the elder sent chills down the spine of Maddie and the alpha. This sounded serious but for some reason, it sounded familiar to Maddie. She had a really strong feeling that it had happened before, an incredible sense of deja vu. 

“Has this happened before?” She could not help but ask. Everyone looked at her as if she had said something so crazy. “I don’t know but I have the feeling that it has.” 

“No, Luna Maddie, this has not happened before, and I would appreciate it if you take this more seriously than you are right now. This matter involves the pack and our livelihood.”

“And who says that she’s not taking it seriously?” Nate had to step in. “She asked a question, it does not mean that she’s making this a joke or anything.” He defended her.
