Chapter 210. A Shadow

Maddie was already out of the villa, heading towards the front gate. She was in no way going for a jog or run, she wanted to meet Jacob. But he did not want to tell Nate about it this time because this involved something very sensitive. 

This was about getting rid of a gun that could ruin the omega’s life in the blink of an eye. So yeah, she had to lie. 

She was tempted to use one of the cars, but she knew that she could not, not when she had already told the alpha that she was going for a run. So that meant that she had to actually jog or run to the park to meet up with Jacob. 

Once in the compound, she pulled up her phone to see a text from the guy, saying that he was almost at the park. Picking up her pace, Maddie put the device back from where she had taken it and started to run. 

There were a few times she had to slow down to catch her breath but she continued until she reached the park. Once she reached there, she stopped by a tree and lean
