Maddie noticed the change in Elder Roy’s expression and hesitated before continuing. “Nate and I went to see the other elders today and they told us about a revelation of a prophecy. They said that there is a she-wolf that is destined to bring the pack to its knees, that darkness will follow her, and that she has the blood of demons in her veins.” 

Elder Roy adjusted himself again on the bed and sighed. A look of understanding danced in his eyes as he stared at the omega. Then after a few seconds of silence, he finally spoke, “It’s you, Maddie Bennett. You’re that she-wolf.” He smiled sadly. 

Maddie scoffed before rolling her eyes. “I’m being serious here, Elder Roy. This is something that is going to affect all of us. And…I have no idea how I’m going to help as Luna of the pack. I need you to teach me, Nate is often busy.”
