Chapter 211. Un-buried Secrets

Throwing the gun into the small pit, Maddie breathed out a sharp breath. Then she watched Jacob shift back into his human form.

“It’s done,” He said as he fished his clothes from the ground and wore them. “We don’t have to worry about the gun anymore. You’re safe.” He closed the distance between the omega and him and pulled her into a gentle hug. 

Maddie at first did not want to hug the guy but she eventually did, considering the fact that they had finally taken care of the gun.

She enjoyed the hug and it comforted her. Then they finally broke it, she pulled away and sighed, running her hand through her hair. “Let’s hurry so we can get back to town. I have to see Elder Roy about something important.”

“Something important?” Jacob inquired as they were walking back to the car. They had no idea that they had been followed or were being watched; no clue at all. He was intrigued and wanted to know what the omega was talking about.
