Chapter 6. Taking My Sh*t Back

A tension lingered in the room and Maddie felt like she had said something wrong. “I think I should leave,” She said in a small voice. When she said this, she saw the mouth of the Alpha open but no words came out and he closed it, only staring at her. 

She took that as her cue to get out of there. She turned around and walked towards the door, opening it and walking right out of the room. She was met with loud music and was reminded that there were people out there who were having a good time. 

She tried her best to walk past the partygoers, finding her way down the stairs before heading to the front door. On her way, he eyes met with Jacob’s. He was across the room with his friends. “I’ll kill you,” He mouthed, causing her heart to drop. 

Maddie quickly turned her eyes away and hurried out of the house. She would have to walk back to the omega house since it was Jacob who had brought her. The cold air of the night hit her as soon as she stepped out. <
