Chapter 73. Who Do I Choose?

Maddie stared at Vanessa, her mind reeling. The implications of Vanessa’s words steeled her heart. If there was indeed a mate bond between her and Nate, it complicated far more than she had anticipated. Choosing between the two guys seemed impossible, yet the answer was slowly becoming clear. 

And that answer was not because of who she actually wanted to choose, because honestly if it was left with her, she would not want to lose any of them. But she knew that life did not work like that. 

So that was why she was trying her best to try to force her hand. Choosing Jacob seemed easier, it seemed like the simpler option. Jacob had his problems and was not perfect but at least being with him would not cause problems throughout the pack. 

His parents loved her and she could see that he was doing so well at trying to be a better person. But with Nate, it was different, yeah, the guy seemed amazing; but she could not deny that she was not fit to be a Luna.
