Lucian’s POV

Rhea’s calm demeanor begins to sway as we got closer to Shiraya’s shrine. She looked away from the car window and turned towards me.

When she notices Shiraya walking towards the car from the entrance of the temple she froze with a panicked look on her face.

I said nothing, just continued the drive and then parked.

I walked out the door and opened hers for her to get out of. She will not remember anything that is about to happen so there is no point in me pretending to care about her, there is no point in me trying to act kind and thoughtful.
