Chapter 32. Shane
Unable to do anything but watch as Noelle disappeared inside the terminal, Shane used both hands to rake his fingers through his thick hair in frustration. He walked over to the Mustang and snatched the keys she had left in the ignition, and closed the door before walking over to his own vehicle. One of the guards working the drop off area came up to him yelling that he couldn’t just leave his car parked in that area. Shane shook his head in frustration, informed the man that it was a family emergency and he was calling for a tow truck.
What a fucking day. He fired off a text to Noelle’s dad to let him know where she was, and what had happened before calling for a tow. After bribing the guard on duty with a hundred dollars to keep an eye on the car until the truck got there, Shane jumped in his own vehicle and headed home. He sent Noelle numerous texts but got no answer. He tried calling. Nothing.
