Chapter 24. Try to Escape

The rising sunlight slipped through the bedroom window curtains onto Selena's body, which had been stirring from earlier. The discomfort of the nightmare made the woman feel in a position where she had difficulty waking up. The dream asked her to stay in the depths of despair and darkness.

As best she could, Selena searched for a way to break free from her dream. Her body was already exhausted, and she couldn't do anything in that dream except hope for help from anyone.

But slowly, Selena was able to open her eyes. Although still in a faint vision, she could control her mind. She realized that she was now in the real world, in a luxurious room that was so quiet.

Selena got up and leaned against the headboard; she felt her body so sore and aching. With her head still a little dizzy, Selena looked around the room surrounded by expensive furniture and decorations, but the quietness made this room nothing more than a prison.

Dreams and reality were not much diff
