Sky's POV

My lips are on the verge of letting out a small growl, but Kyle’s hand keeps it in check, while his tight hold around my waist ensures I don’t break free and harm her.

“If only you had chosen me over that nobody in the first place, this never would have happened.” Megan uttered with a sneer on her face.

With his face showing signs of healing by the second, Ethan lifts it up and attempts to say something, but the silver line of duct tape that is securely strapped over his mouth makes it difficult to understand. In a sudden move, Megan takes the final step towards him and, without any warning, she rips the tape from his face.

“What was that?” She asks, placing a hand on her hip and tossing the other one to her side; letting the tape flop over in her hand.

Ethan, with a look of disdain in his eyes, rolls his darkened eyes and proceeds to spit in her direction. “Choosing you is something I never would have considered.”
