Owen's POV
“Have you been keeping tabs on me?” In a slightly irritated tone, I ask the question.
“Luther?” Uncle Morison takes a moment to collect himself and then breathes out slowly. “What the hell are you doing here? I thought for sure you were dead.”
“It’s nice to see you too, Morison.” He nods with a weak smile; something I had never seen before. He never smiled. “I’d like to thank you for raising my children. You’ve done an outstanding job. They’re amazing.”
“Cut the shit.” I roll my eyes again.
“You look like Lowell when you do that.” Aggie whispers to me.
“I need a clear answer from you, either yes or no, regarding whether or not you were following me.”
“Yes.” He nods.
“Well, don’t.” I huff. “I don’t need you. I don’t want you. So just don’t.”
