Chapter 53. A Fight off
Daryl’s thoughts were wrong. Rick has frozen. He watched as tears rolled down Rick’s cheeks. Nancy did it. His brother’s conscience is back on.
“I know it would work,” he muttered.
Nancy wipes Rick’s tears. “Tell me how you feel about me?”
Rick couldn’t speak a word. He’s overwhelmed. Letting out a word would lead to him sobbing. The memories of all the evil he did while his conscience was off are all flashing back. He brought his lips closer to Nancy’s and kissed her.
“Make me forget.”
He brought his lips closer to hers and continued kissing her.
Daryl’s face turned pale. His chin tightened. Even his jealousy isn’t hidden. “I hate this moment,” he mumbled.
