“Take your money and shove it right through your ass,” she harshly said, glaring at Daryl. She can’t be bought with money. “Either you wait for my working hour to be over, or you go find him alone.”
She turned and walked back to the office complex. A loud message has been passed to Daryl. ‘It’s not all about money.’ It sank deep in him, but he looked confused, wondering why Nancy would reject such a deal.

The sound of the doorbell rang with a continuous fading sound that finally faded away.
“Coming!” Mrs. Brick yelled. She quickly hurried to her feet and made her way to answer the door.
Mrs. Brick is Mia’s grandmother and one of the few witches who have spat death in the face. She opened the door and made a profile of Mia.
“Hello, grams,” Mia said with a sad look on her face.
