Selene's POV

"Didn't you forget what happened today?" I ask.

It's like what he said has just sunk into my brain.

It's so impossible!

He's just a human, so why won't my manipulation affect him?

"Yes," he said. "But Selene, what you did today—does that mean you're a vampire?"

Before Dominic could finish what he was going to say, I immediately covered his mouth.

I signaled "quiet" to him with my other hand.

"Please! Don't tell anyone else. I'll do everything for you!" I beg him.

He just looked at my face. He didn't speak and seemed to be thinking about what I said.

I agree!

Both of my eyebrows raised when he touched my hand, covering his mouth before slowly removing it.

"You will do everything I ask you to do? Is that so?" He assured me that I would quickly nod.

"It's okay with me if you let me do your assignments, projects, or even tests." I said. "Just don't spread what you found out to others."
