Chapter 10

Selene's POV

My heart beat faster when I smelled his blood.

This is it...

The blood I smelled earlier if I'm not mistaken.

From my finger, I slowly looked at the face of the person who was currently looking at me with surprise.

"Selene?"

Why him?  Does it have anything to do with my dream?

I covered my nose and mouth and tried to calm myself down.

Now that I'm closer to him, the smell is stronger. like he's testing me.

"I'll just finish this right now." I stammered before focusing on his finger.

When I feel my eyes getting hot, I stop for a moment and shake my head.

"Sh*t," I whispered.

I bit my lower lip and tried to focus on putting the cloth on the wound.

When I finished, I quickly covered my nose and mouth again.

"Thank you," Dominic said.

I just nodded at it. I want to get out of here, but I can't.

It's like my legs don't want to follow.
